2. The DeFi Agent Economy and its Current Limitations
2.1 The Lack of AI Agent Rails Today
AI agents have been disrupting the blockchain space and giving a glimpse into what is possible. While they have a lot of potential, AI agents, as we know them right now, are not that useful to individual users since they are not just limited by the AI tech, but also mainly by the lack of infrastructure to make them truly operational across DeFi.
Currently, developers have to deal not only with the complexities of building a proper AI Agent but also the technical difficulties that are intrinsic to crypto. This filters out any developers who would like to build agents in the crypto economy but are not familiar with the blockchain. The future agentic economy requires a plug-and-play system in order to scale the ecosystem.
2.2 The Difficulties of DeFi
The knowledge barrier to access DeFi is currently very large. Even after the knowledge is acquired, it is difficult and time consuming to manage several wallets, continuously bridge asset, handle gas fees, and stay up to date with the best protocols. Additionally, with the volatility and fast moving nature of the crypto market, lots of issues are prevalent:
Human Emotional Biases: Traders often fail to make the right trade at the right time due to emotional biases or lack of real-time information.
Risk Management: Managing leverage, selling, and stop-loss strategies can be difficult, leading to potential losses or liquidations.
Market Complexity: Identifying trends, key support and resistance levels, and interpreting market sentiment requires advanced skills, data analysis, and constant monitoring.
Sympson AI agent's goal is to solve these problems by executing trades on behalf of the user, continuously analyzing market conditions, and adjusting strategies autonomously. All done behind the scenes for the user. This minimizes the emotional aspect of trading, maximizes profitability, removes the knowledge barrier of DeFi and saves users time and energy.
2.3 The Infra Advantage with Symphony
The Symphony Network enables the rail system necessary to allow agents to be freed from the burdens and limitations of crypto. Sympson via Symphony can access nearly any chain and liquidity source to perform trades all without the need to use wallets, bridges, gas, etc.
Sympson AI, powered by Symphony’s tech stack, also unlocks the necessary infrastructure that allows AI developers and users to not have to worry about the underlying technology of blockchains.
Additionally, Sympson AI will take advantage of the AI communication Symphony creates enabling agent to agent collaboration to accomplish tasks in parallel for users.
3. Unlocking the Full Potential of Onchain Agents with Sympson
3.1 Rails and Communication with other Agents
Since Symphony was designed for generalized executions, this enables the ability for communication between Sympson AI and other AI agents for collaboration, sharing resources, and perform more complex tasks in parallel both at the personal level for individual users and also for the ecosystem as a whole.
3.2 Chain-Agnostic Abilities
Sympson AI is not limited to only a few ecosystems, but has access to all chains, protocols, and liquidity with the fastest execution times in crypto.
Additionally, instead of having to launch and fragment several LPs for your token and fragment liquidity and users, Sympson's LPs can have one unified liquidity pool that users all over crypto can access instantly.
3.3 Position Sharding Capabilities
Symphony’s sharding engine is the first high-performance, scalable system that enables multiple executions across various protocols and chains simultaneously.
With this, Sympson AI can split up executions/trades across multiple protocols simultaneously enabling much lower slippage and finally the ability to trade any position size onchain (where currently it is only available on CEXs).
This system also enables all liquidity pools to be unified across all ecosystems removing any fragmentation of liquidity or users.
This accelerates development processes times and generates considerable value from any ecosystem to drive back to Sympson AI given its omni-chain capabilities via Symphony rails (i.e. you don't need to re-invent the wheel to build what Symphony's solved for)
3.4 Unified Smart Account
Sympson AI does not require the need to have multiple wallets depending on the chain it is operating on. It utilizes a Symphony Smart Account so it can use assets from any chain, together, to perform their operations without dust or having to move assets from chain to chain saving timing and reducing any fragmentation concerns.
Additionally, it does not need to use any bridges, wallets, multiple tools, etc to perform any cross-chain transactions.
3.5 The Largest Asset and Protocol Selection
Sympson AI will have access to the largest selection of assets with the deepest liquidity via Symphony’s rails. This includes over 400+ assets at launch spanning crypto, forex, RWAs, etc meaning Sympson AI is able to preform more strategies and catch new trades faster than any other agent or user.
Symphony is already partnered and integrating with all of the top exchanges in crypto such as GMX, HyperLiquid, Gains, Avantis (to name only a few) so that you have access to anything you want instantly.
3.6 The fastest cross-chain execution speeds
Sympson AI can execute anything, anywhere in under 3 seconds on Symphony. Which is the fastest speeds in crypto and already 45x faster than LayerZero or Axelar.
This is made possible via Symphony’s innovative core systems which are powered by intents and our own permissionless solver network that facilitates executions across chains and Sympson AI’s advanced algorithms.
3.7 Enhanced Scalability
Symphony’s infrastructure was designed to handle generalized executions. In the future, this will expand past perpetuals including but not limited to swaps, NFTs, lending/borrowing, bridging, fiat on/off ramping, etc (basically anything that can be executed in crypto can be routed through Symphony).
This will enable a one-stop-shop for everything DeFi and unlocks Sympson AI’s abilities to perform complex operations for any and all DeFi transaction.
